Alli AI and Tilly both call themselves SEO help, but they work on different parts of a site. Alli AI changes the site itself at scale: it deploys technical and on-page optimisations across every page, pre-renders for AI crawlers and speeds pages up, and it is priced for teams running several sites. Tilly's SEO agent is about content for one Shopify store: it finds the questions your customers search, writes the posts and publishes them.

Pick Alli AI if you manage several sites, or one large site with technical debt, and want changes applied without a developer. Pick Tilly if your one store needs posts written and published every month, and a list of technical fixes you approve one by one.

Alli AI's facts are from its pricing page, which shows monthly and annual prices; we list both where published. Alli AI has no Shopify App Store listing we could read, so the rating rows are empty.

Alli AI's Business plan is $299 a month billed monthly, or $249 a month billed annually at $2,990, and covers 5 sites, 5 team members, 500 keywords and 1,250 pages. Agency is $599 a month billed monthly. Every plan starts with a 10-day free trial.

Tilly starts with 100 free credits and no card, then $49 a month for 500 credits. A blog post with its cover is 15 credits, and the SEO audit, with a written fix for each finding, is free. There is no per-site or per-page charge on a single store.

For a one-store Shopify brand, Alli AI's entry plan buys capacity for five sites. For an agency with five client sites, that same plan may be the cheaper option per site, which is exactly who it is priced for.

Tilly writes the content that ranks for your customers' questions. The SEO agent groups searches by what your personas ask, found in your reviews and store, and writes one post per question with links to the products that answer it.

It publishes to Shopify properly. Each post goes to your Shopify blog with a cover image in your brand's style, meta title and description, internal links and article or FAQ schema, after you approve it. New posts are handed to the email calendar so your subscribers see them.

It is sized for one store. There is no per-site or per-page price, and the same credits pay for the email, ads and page-fix agents, which read the same brand profile as the SEO agent.

It explains before it changes anything. Each audit finding comes with the fix written out, so you see what will change on your store before it does.

Moving between the two is less a switch than a change of focus. If you drop Alli AI, remove its snippet from your theme first so nothing half-deployed remains, and note which pages it changed so you can check they still look right without it.

Run Tilly's free SEO audit on the store the same day. It lists missing or duplicate meta, missing schema, thin collections and broken links, each with a written fix, which covers much of the ground a store with one site needs.

Watch the store's Search Console data for a few weeks after either change. Technical fixes and new content show up on different timescales, and it helps to know which one moved the numbers.
