Tilly's SEO agent: the fixes written, not just listed
A scanner tells you a product has no meta description. Someone still has to write one that says the right thing to the right buyer, then do the same for every other product. How to choose
Decide whether you want a list or a fix. If you are happy to write your own titles and descriptions, a scanner on a free or low plan will show you where to start. If the list is long and the writing is the bottleneck, pick something that writes the fixes as well as finding them.
Then check the limits that matter for your store's size: how many pages a plan scans or audits, and whether anything on the free plan changes your theme. The cheapest plan that covers your whole catalogue is usually the right first one.
Questions people ask
Do I need Shopify SEO tools if Shopify already handles SEO?
Shopify gives every page a search title and description field and makes your sitemap. It does not fill those fields well for you or tell you which ones are empty. That gap is what these tools exist for.
Which of these has a free plan?

Can I use an SEO app and Tilly together?
Yes. A scanner or speed app and Tilly do different parts of the job. Tilly writes into Shopify's own SEO fields, so it does not fight with an app that works on images or speed.
Will an SEO app write my blog posts?

How do I know if SEO fixes worked?

The pages that already earn traffic or sales: your best sellers and your main collections. Give each a search title written for what buyers type, a description that gives a reason to click, and alt text on its images, then move on to collections with no text at all.
