Klaviyo alternatives for Shopify stores

Best for: a store that already sends through Klaviyo, or wants to, and whose real gap is the writing. Watch out for: Tilly does not send email or SMS. It needs a sender, and today that sender is Klaviyo; Omnisend and Shopify Email are planned, not live. If you are leaving Klaviyo because of its price, Tilly adds a bill rather than removing one.

Start with the reason you are looking. If it is price, compare the tools at your own list size today and at double it, because all three senders price by contacts and the entry tier tells you little. If it is support, look at what each gives on the plan you would actually buy, not the top one.

If the reason is that the emails never get written, a cheaper sender will not fix it. That is the case for keeping Klaviyo and adding something that writes, whether that is Tilly, a freelancer or an agency.

If you are small and just starting, the free tiers are close enough that the decision matters less than getting a welcome flow and a cart flow live this week. Pick the one whose editor you find easiest, and revisit the choice once you know which flows earn.
