Tilly vs VWO
VWO, now Wingify, is a testing and behaviour analytics suite priced by quote; Tilly writes and tests page, email and Meta ad changes for Shopify stores. What Wingify's own pages and listing say.

The short answer
VWO now trades as Wingify, and its Shopify listing describes it as formerly VWO and AB Tasty. It is a broad experimentation suite: A/B, split and multivariate testing with Bayesian reporting, plus heatmaps, session recordings, form analytics, surveys and funnels, with enterprise-grade security and access control. Tilly is a marketing app for Shopify stores whose CRO and experiments agents write page fixes and test them, alongside email and Meta ad tests.
Choose Wingify if you have an optimisation team, meaningful traffic and a need for behaviour analytics next to testing. Choose Tilly if you are a Shopify store without that team, and need the changes worked out and written for you before anything is tested.
Side by side
Wingify's figures come from its pricing page and its Shopify App Store listing, each linked and dated. Wingify does not publish plan prices; it quotes them, so the price rows describe how it prices rather than a number.
| Side by side | Tilly | VWO |
|---|---|---|
| Lowest published paid plan | Store: $49/month | Not recorded |
| What the price is based on | Credits spent when an agent builds something; not contacts, sends or ad spend | Custom pricing, quoted by the sales teamsource |
| Free plan or trial | 100 credits, once, no card | 30-day free trial, no cardsource |
| Shopify App Store reviews | Not recorded | 0source |
| Connects to | Klaviyo (as drafts), your Shopify blog, Meta (ads paused), a preview copy of your theme | Not recorded |
| Approval before anything goes live | Never. Every email, post, ad and page change waits for approval | Not recorded |
What each costs
Wingify offers custom pricing, based on traffic volume, the products and plans chosen and the implementation. Pricing is based on monthly active users for most products, and there is a 30-day free trial with no credit card. The Shopify app itself is free to install but needs a Wingify subscription.
Tilly publishes its prices. After 100 free credits, the Store plan is $49 a month for 500 credits; a CRO audit is 20 credits, a written fix 10 and an A/B test 10, including writing the variants. The same credits pay for email, ads and blog posts.
If you need a number to compare, you will have to ask Wingify for one at your traffic. What you can compare now is scope: an enterprise testing and analytics suite against a marketing app that includes testing.

Where VWO is better
Tilly wrote this page, so first, the things Wingify does and Tilly does not. source, checked 25 September 2026
- Multivariate testing with Bayesian reporting, beyond the A/B tests Tilly runs.
- Behaviour analytics in the same suite: heatmaps, session recordings, form analytics, surveys and conversion funnels. Tilly has none of these.
- Enterprise needs are covered, with enterprise-grade security and access control and data kept for 13 months across most products.
- A long free trial: 30 days with no card, against the time most stores need to learn whether testing suits them.
Where Tilly is better
Tilly works out what to change. The CRO agent reviews product, collection, cart and home pages, mobile first, and ties each finding to a customer and the objection they raise in your reviews. It then writes the new copy, reorders sections and adds trust blocks and FAQ in your customers' words, on a preview copy of your theme.
It tests across channels from one backlog. Email subject lines, content and send times in Klaviyo, and creative and angle in Meta, are tested the same way as page changes, and every agent adds ideas: the ads agent when one angle wins, the email agent when one email carries a flow.
It is priced in the open and sized for one store. There is no sales call and no traffic-based quote; a test costs 10 credits.
Results change the next piece of work. A finished test is written into the brand profile, so the next email, ad and page fix start from what won.
It needs no implementation project. Tilly can run its audit and write its first fixes in the same session, where an enterprise suite is usually set up with a team and a tracking plan first.
Switching
If you use Wingify for analytics and testing, you can keep it for behaviour data and let Tilly write the fixes that the data points to. Avoid running a Tilly page test and a Wingify test on the same page at the same time.
If you are leaving, export the results of your past experiments and the reports you rely on; Wingify keeps most product data for 13 months, and behaviour analytics for less, so take what you need before the subscription ends.
Uninstall the Shopify app after cancelling so its tracking code, which the app deploys across the store except checkout and order pages, is removed cleanly.
Then run Tilly's free audit and a CRO audit on your main product page. Ship the small fixes from the preview theme, and test the bigger ones.
Expect fewer, bigger tests at first. Without heatmaps to point at small frictions, Tilly's first tests usually target the objections your reviews raise most, which tend to be larger changes with clearer results.

Its pricing page says 13 months for all products except behaviour analytics, which keeps data for 30 days on Growth, 60 on Pro and 90 on Enterprise, with add-ons to extend it.
